What got you into Azumanga?
For me, I downloaded a cross-over parody between Azumanga Daioh and Fist of the North Star, but before reading it I thought I'd familiarise myself with the Azu characters through wiki, so that I'd get whatever jokes were within.

Reading the wiki page, I was enticed, and quickly went out and bought the second volume of the manga(the first wasn't available, which might've been a good thing in the long run).

Incidentally, checking the wiki page to understand the parody turned out unnecessary, as the Azu girls weren't a big part of the story.
