The Scarlet Letter is much improved by the addition of Yotsuba. It would also be improved by ninjas. Yotsuba is superior, however.

I wish I had nice things like Yotsuba or Azumanga back when I had to read Scarlet Letter and Tale of Two Cities.

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again... Sakaki sure seems like a reflection of Holden Caulfield in "Catcher in the Rye." I'm sure if I read it again, I'll be picturing her in that role somehow....

I'm with you on "The Great Gatsby" but Mark Twain is underrated. I'm sure he would have appreciated the irony of the fact that it's due in large part to his work being required reading in Public schools.

Heart of Darkness was a dreadful read. I doubt anything could help that book.

I do wonder if any of the Azu/Yotsuba characters would fit into Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I can picture Osaka in all her mad acid trips, or maybe even Tomo.
