Finally got my figure in last weekend--too late to contribute to the YotsuBBS. Didn't have time to take any pictures until tonight in any event.
The back of the box, just because.
The package contents as arranged in the box (except for the pamphlets, which are set aside for clarity), if anyone's interested.
Free! Time to rise and shine!
I'd like to think I'm the first to do this, but I'm probably not...
Arise, Yotsumus Prime!Borrowed a friend's TF Revoltechs for these. Unfortunately, he'd lost all the other spare hands a few months ago, so I had to go with what he had. Getting Prime's gun-shooting hand to hold that ice cream bar wasn't easy. Switching out heads was a real pain, though, since the joint under Prime's head is really stubby and his head and neck are recessed into the top of his torso. I actually had to use the spare double-joint that came with Yotsuba to get her head to stay on.

Behold—Yotsutron! And of course, for every light, there must be a darkness. Megatron's neck joint is longer and his head well above his torso, so switching heads here was no problem.

One shall stand, one shall fall! Unless they both decide to go after Yanda.
A different angle for a better shot of Yotsutron's face.
WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE!? Yeah, it's kinda creepy, I know.
"Great Primus, my head!" "There, there, no bother!"
And the flip side--armed, of course. Sadly, I only have one Yotsuba figure, so I couldn't get both YotsuBody TFs on camera at once. All for tonight.

I got mine this Monday. I'll possibly post pictures when I stop being lazy yet busy to the point of insanity.
>>111623I recommend a tripod, and a spot of photoshop.

>>111654Tripod might be useful. My hands are not the steadiest, especially for photos where I have to turn off the flash. It's a matter of budget. As for Photoshop, I did use it (minimally), kicking up brightness 20% and contrast 10% on everything but the pics showing the plastic trays. (The light reflections in the trays started washing out details.)
>>111678Apologies, that wasn't intended as a dig at your photography. What I was trying to say is that if you're reasonably quick and have a steady camera, you can put the same figure in two places in the same photograph: photograph the first pose, move the figure without moving the camera (try to avoid giveaways like overlapping shadows), take the second pose, then use a layer mask to combine the two images. The Gorillapod (http://www.joby.com/products/gorillapod/original/) is cheap and versatile: it scrunches up for going in your pocket, is easy to pose when deployed, and can grab on to things like trees and lamp-posts.

>>111680Ah, I see what you're saying now. Yeah, a tripod would definitely be of help there. The Gorillapod looks pretty sweet--have to see if it's available through brick-and-mortar venues too. Thanks for the tip!Shadows would definitely make a convincing doctored shot tricky, but it's worth exploring.

>>112116How ironic. She attacks at sunrise! But just to wake up Daddy.
>>112116 Actually, if Yanda's head could somehow fit onto Starscream's body, we might have an epic showdown here.Yanda Starscream picks up an ice cream cone! "Oh, how it pains me to do this!"Yotsutron protests! "Wait, that's my ice cream!"Yanda sneers! "Wanna bet?" chomp"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"And of course, Yotsutron's fateful meeting with Koiwaicron:"What's in it for me?""Your bargaining posture is highly dubious. But very well. I shall give you new clothes to wear... and a new bicycle to command.""...And hamburgers?""AND NOTHING!"

>>112131You sure it wouldn't be Jumbocron? Otherwise, major win all around.
>>112148 Well, Daddy buys the stuffs for Yotsuba, but you gotta point there ^^
>>112217True, but there was that trip to the festival (thanks to Miura's extortion), plus Jumbo's treated Yotsuba (and others at the same time) to ice cream and a variety of instant ramen. But yes, Daddy Koiwai's the main source of goodies.
