I just got Genshiken vol. 9 in the mail yesterday. I know this has been out there for a long time in the original Japanese and scanlation form, but I've only been reading the English Del Rey releases.I absolutely love the series. I'm sure I don't get a lot of the references, but I love it when they reference something I recognize. Especially when it's Azu-related like this.I don't have a scanner hooked up, but found the raws online and added in the translation myself (for this page only). (Note: Ogiue's text in the last panel is as it is in the Del Rey translation. I assume that's a typo.)I suppose this has been posted here in some form before, but oh well.

What's Genshiken? I live under a rock.
>>113178It's a manga series about a small college Otaku club - The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture (aka Genshiken). The final volume was recently released in the US. Also the anime is currently in its second season in Japan.May be of interest to Azu/Yotsuba&! fans as it's a slice-of-life comedy series with an ensemble cast of realistic, though certainly not normal, characters. In a present day Japan setting. (Though it is quite different from Azu/Yotsuba&! in most other respects.)
