She is pretty, but she also has the potential to become a raving fruitbat treehugger.
>>115420 Just because she likes animals?
>>115421Yes,you can see she's a half step from being a vegan, and another two and she'll be trying to get her cat to do the same.Or I could just be dazing over, she just reminds me of some gals in Cali who started out as a animal lover then went batshit...

Sakaki gets what she wants.
>>115423I'm pretty sure Sakaki eats meat.Just not meat that comes from CUTE animals.
>>115428 I dunno, I wouldn't call bears cute. She's probably one of those people who will eat meat as long as she doesn't think too hard about what it used to be. Besides, the Japanese can render any animal as being cute. Just look at what they've done with the octopus.
>>115432 Maybe we should try to persuade them to 'cutify' whales. Plushie whale, anyone?

Actually, that's an interesting deduction about Sakaki's personality. Her love for animals is a core personality trait. I can see her being unwilling to eat meat because of that. Has anyone seen her eat meat in either the manga or anime? For that matter, has anyone ever seen her eat anything? Maybe she's a battle android in disguise.

>>115444Well, she did get into an "eating contest" with Kagura. If we could determine WHAT she was eating...
>>115444 The only time I distinctly remember her eating is when they were all studying at Chiyo's house, and Mr. Tadakichi tried to get some of her cake.
>>115444She was shopping for food at a fast food place in volume 1 of the manga. I doubt when the manga was made there were any salads at fast food places. It's obvious she ate it, otherwise, why would she be there in the first place? :/

>>115495This is off topic, but does anyone know the origin of the term "chachamaru"? It was also the name of the vessel from the anime Plastic Little back in the early 90s.

>>115498 It's also the name of a Japanese guitarist. It's also the name of that Azu fan artist (also known as 'Tyatyamaru').As far as I can tell it's just a name. Japanese wikipedia says the Chacha part first came into use as this woman's name.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yodo-DonoAnd according to the WWWJDIC, Maru (丸) means "circle," but is also used as a suffix for ship names. So that at least explains its use as the name of an anime vessel, but as for the guitarist, artist, and android, I'm not sure.

Back on track - Sakaki and friend...
This might be a good place to ask..I'm planning a Sakaki crossplay for an upcoming convention. Yes, I did say crossplay. I intend to do it well, no manfaye-esque action here. :PThere's one catch, I'm having trouble on what cup size Sakaki is. I know Sakaki is big compared to the others, but I'm not sure on a size. I'm thinking C or D, but I'm not sure. Any input would be appreciated..

>>115597I don't have the information, but I'm willing to bet that you can find her "vital measurements" somewhere on the web. You can get a good idea of her cup size from that.>>115500 Thank you very much for that tidbit about "maru". That makes a lot of sense. Chacha by itself is easily figured out. The "maru" combination didn't make any sense until then. I knew about -go appended to ship's names, but I never knew -maru was used in the same way.

>>115624 Even if you could determine her bust measurements, you would still just have to guestimate her cup size.
>>115609Don't let Temari hear that.
