>>119207Just go to the bookstore and grab a copy already you...DOUBLE WEEABOO.
>>119208I wish it was that simple for me. In England, manga is usually double the price of the American version. Though when Gollancz Manga released Dragonball here it was even cheaper at first. And good luck trying to find Yotsuba& 6 in a town bookshop in England. Or any ADV Manga stuff.

>>119209perhaps you could consider moving to scotland? When I was in Glasgow, I find it easy to find manga (yotsuba& in this matter), there are two comic shops in city center.Maybe they already have yotsuba& 6 in store?
>>119209Finland, same thing, yadda yadda.
It's actually pretty difficult to find them in bookstores in the US, at least for the first month or so after release. Also, has anyone noticed that the "publisher's description" of this volume appearing on websites like Barnes&Noble is the description for volume 5? It's the end of an endless summer, and Yotsuba is out to make the most of it. First, she'll go toe-to-toe with a cardboard robot, then help out the neighbors by eating their grapes, and spearheading an impromptu trip to the beach. But when her ice cream is stolen by Yanda, Koiwai's understudy, Yotsuba may have to admit she's finally met her match!

>>119222Amazon says it's shipping in 3-6 weeks, and borders doesn't have it in stock in the stores near me. Last one that came out I got it from borders the week it was released.
>>119226Three to six weeks? Damn, ouch. Mine's supposedly shipping from Amazon today, but I haven't gotten any notification email yet. I'm not too optimistic about getting one today either, since lately all their shipping and tracking information seems to be a song sung in the key of lie.
Wait it's out already? Sheeesh. I just friggin bought #4 and #5 like 2 weeks ago.

I pre-ordered it in January, and now Amazon's telling me there's some kind of delay, and I won't get it 'til May. That's f'ed up.
>>119228Ha, I just got up and checked my email to find a shipping notice from Amazon. Was it Yotsuba? Of course not, it was the books on ancient Chinese history that I'd ordered the other day.Now they're just toying with me. Amazon, you vc:brut

>>119226My order from amazon.com also says it'll be delivered in 3 to 6 weeks. With everything that was going on with ADV in the past month or so, I wouldn't be surprised if their manga line was also affected.
>>119254 What's happened to ADV in the past month?I remember a similar situation when volume 5 was released, but people who ordered from amazon managed to get theirs within a week or so of the release vc: date.

>>119255They're having issues. In fact they just closed in the UK, we're having some other company distributing their titles soon.I heard America is having problems with them too, I ordered volume 1 of Macross ages ago, only 2-7 have come, it did sent but never arrived, now they're taking forever finding another one.
>>119260On the North American side, back in January they suspended about three dozen or so recently licensed anime like Kanon and Welcome To The NHK. It was just a few days ago that they announced new shipping dates for most of those titles. Nobody's 100% sure what happened though.I'm not sure how their manga division would've been affected if at all, but it's possible there was some problems that I haven't heard about. At any rate, the fact they said there's a shipment date at all (albeit in 3 to 6 weeks from Amazon) is good. Who knows, a couple of times things have shipped early from Amazon for me.

Got home from work this morning to find an email in my inbox notifying me of a delay. Hope there's room on the 3-6 Week Boat, 'cause I'm comin' aboard.
