The preview from the dengeki site is up;待ちに待ったお祭りの日の朝。
That's adorable.
It's the morning of the long-awaited festival day. With her happi coat on, Yotsuba's more excited than usual. When she gets to the designated meeting place with Ena, she finds a whole bunch of kids and a shrine float. It's Yotsuba's first time seeing a portable shrine, and she's really hyped up. And when she hears she'll get candy for working hard to pull the shrine float, her enthusiasm goes through the roof.
Did Ena use conditioner?
>>120268Indeed she did. She used Hair-lo brand hair conditioner. Guaranteed to make your hair shine in any lighting condition or your money back.Warning: The use of Hair-lo has been shown to cause achromatopsia, speaking in tongues, and spontaneous dysmorphism.

>>120274I think he's asking for scans of the new chapter. Not out just yet. Could be anytime between now and a week from now (depending on how reliable the guys on Share are this month).
>>120273Soon enough. Just wait a bit more.
>>120287 Hopefully. Last month it took over a week for the scans to get uploaded.
>>120290 That's because Dengeki has gotten wise and started posting guards on the shipping trucks. No more of these hijackings and having scans posted the morning of the 21st...
>>120323We'll have to get more powerful guns.

I was hoping that it was going to be one of those festivals where everyone wears fundoshi, because seeing Ena-chan in fundoshi would be hot :[
To anyone else cruising Share, there's a fake Ch. 54 floating around right now. It's not a virus or anything, it's just some news footage of a bunch of Japanese guys getting drunk at a festival.
>>120422How appropriate. Well, at least it isn't another Burmaroll.

>>120264 What's written on their coats? For Yotsuba it looks like the first two characters of her family name (小岩) but for Ena all I can make out is 中 which isn't a part of her family name at all.

>>120436 So if I interpret this right, the characters have something to do with the person's status in their family? For Yotsuba's this makes sense, it looks like hers says she's the youngest, but what about Ena's? Is it just because she's older, or is hers supposed to be a hand-me-down from Fuuka or something?
>>120437 not 岩 rock, it's 若 young. It might be hard to explain that system for many Japanese.http://scga.fc2web.com/i/matsuri/saireiyogo-wa.html

>>120439 So without being able to understand all the cultural nuances, it's a way of grouping young people. Yotsuba is "small" and Ena is "medium."

So it's a bit like waka-tono (若殿), or "Young Lord/Master" in terms of nuance. As the only child in her household, I suppose Yotsuba would hold a high position, at that. (Of course, she holds a high position in our hearts, regardless, but anyway...)

>>120454 >As the only child in her household, I suppose Yotsuba would hold a high position, at thatThat's what makes me think it refers to the child's objective position in society (or more to the point, their age) rather than their relative position in the family. Ena's is 中 (nakawaka?) but she's the youngest of her family, so she should be of the lowest status, yet she ranks higher than Yotsuba who is an only child. Although I suppose a child's status within their family could be arbitrarily determined by age, rather than by their relative position of succession of the family line. Good thing we're getting all this weeaboo discussion out of the way here, so we don't have to clutter up the actual thread for the chapter once it finally arrives.

While it becomes almost second nature to put on perving blinders whenever Anon begins to Humbert Humbert it up with Chiyo et. al., references to actual underage girls as "lolis" and to their anatomy is, uh, kind of unnerving. Seriously, y'all.
>>120567 "Humbert Humbert"?Also, I'm inclined to agree. While I'm alright with the occassional "Ena-chan is sexy," or "I want to be Chiyo-chan's secret boyfriend," etc. referring to actual five-year-olds as "delicious" is going a bit over the line. That said, >>120515 made me laugh.

Sorry. Suddenly say, please file… away.
So... How about that new chapter eh?
I saw the picture that was posted and I saw nothing wrong with it. In my country we just think that those things are cute, maybe kind of funny. Only the insane person thinks it is sexual and so what if he does? You Americans need to lighten up.
>>120606 If the board rules don't allow animated depictions of Fuuka's ass, they certainly won't allow photographic depictions of a child's ass. Also, while nudity certainly can be innocent (I have some drawings of Yotsuba in her underwear that I believe are totally cute not pedo), the context in which that image of the girls in the fundoshi was posted made it obvious that the poster was finding it sexually arousing, and that sort of conduct isn't really promoted around here.
> In my country we just think that those things are cute, maybe kind of funny.Same here, but the fraction of pedos in my country is significantly smaller than the fraction of pedos visiting this board. It all depends on the context as Ralen said.

The latest chapter, anybody?
>>120609 Still waiting on Share. Last month it didn't get uploaded by anyone until the morning of the 27th (and the guy who usually uploads the chapters each month didn't get to it until nearly a week after that).

Also, Baron Kanayama has confirmed for me that the name of their town appears on the happi worn by the adults at the festival (or rather, he invited me to confirm it for myself once I read the chapter).
