Actually, more like longer haired Halle Berry. She did have long, straight hair at some point, right?

>>120888By the way, I don't suppose you'd mind a bit of constructive criticism?Your shoops themselves are pretty well done, but I'm not so sure about the shade of black you use for the skin tone. To me it kind of feels too saturated, falling into some kind of phantom territory between too black and not black enough. Otherwise, not bad work at all.

Alright.... ^_^ I love to hear a comment (with some common sense in it) about my work/shoops....What's a good color for a black man/woman, that YOU can relate too Savage?

>>120898Seeing as I live in scandinavia, we don't get too many black people 'round heres to begin with, but with the OP image in mind, anything darker or less saturated for a shade would do nicely.
>>120898 Why not check out some real black people? Or at least look at some good quality photographs, preferably where you have other objects or people of known colour (shade / tone) to compare them to. Consider them as reference samples. Also, you may consider this as free professional advice!

>>120902Are you relating to REAL brothas and sistas?Because, that's almost impossible.... Look at our color changes at bright and dark light areas, (Hell I'm just using normal lighting for my shadows)So far, the BEST examples for good shading is Afro Samurai and Boondocks....I'll check out some other animes with blacks in it...But for now, take this black-anime face-palm....

As a typical white person, the only black man I can claim to know well is Barrack Obama, but even I have noticed that his skin tone appears to be lighter or darker depending on the photograph. The only way I'll know for certain exactly how dark he is, is if we happen to meet in person, but I'm concerned that, just like his grandma, I'll get scared and cross the street before I can even take a close look.

I don't see these types of blacks, at least on the streets. These are what they call caramels. How about some black-black, you know, like Mr. T or Wisely Snipes?

I never heard anybody say mulatto outside of a history textbook. I've heard things like hapa, mixed, or biracial, but not mulatto.
>>121071Lois said it once on "Family Guy", presumably referring to her own illegitimate half-brother. At the time, she was speaking to her (and presumably the boy's) father, who is rich, old, white, and probably Republican. That's pretty much the only other place I've heard the word used.
