Well I don't know about everyone else, but since it runs in my family I'm pretty sure it's my damn genes that are to blame. Also various Circumstances from the last half decade or so that I won't go into because I rather doubt anybody wants to hear about some random internet dude's life. I find that constantly making fun of my own warped emotional state helps me deal with it.
