Chapter 60 came out on February 27th, there's a new issue of Dengeki Daioh released on March 27th, but there's no Yotsuba or IM in it. The next chapter of each is supposed to be out April 27th.

The DVD was released in Japan a few days ago. I'm torrenting the raw off of tokyotosho.com as we speak.
I might give translating this one a go, but no guarantees. I'll have to wait until I've actually seen it before I can say for sure if I'll be able to pull it off.

I gave it another shot, and with some unorthodox methods (I extracted the audio layer and converted it to mp3 so I could run it through an audio program to slow down the difficult to understand parts) I'm actually making good progress. I'm a little over halfway through.

Anyone know anyone who can encode/time these things? I know nothing about subbing.

What's the best way to do lettering in the middle of a frame though? Like for signs and things. The only way I know to do it is export a filmstrip and frame-by-frame edit it, but surely there must be a simpler way.

Well I don't know how to encode hardsubs, but I do have mkvtoolnix so from there it's just a matter of creating a timed .ass file and muxing it with the video. (I think... I've never done this before).

But there are a couple of scenes where I thought it might be nice to edit the on-screen text. That part's totally optional though.

I'm also realizing now that I have no idea how to upload a torrent file. I mean I can use the "Create New Torrent" feature in uTorrent, but I don't know where to go from there. I have no idea how trackers work, and it looks like most of them require registration.

Editing text can be done in the .ass, as long as it's simple edits, you can 'blackout' part of image with specific color.

Torrents needs tracker to track peers, so you need to find some public tracker which accepts user-uploaded torrents (mininova, piratebay), usually it doesn't matter which one you choose if it is stable enough.

Another option is to create trackerless torrent, which uses distributed tracker built-in in some clients (azureus, utorrent), but that then limits the client programs users can use.

Many trackers require registration but at public trackers it's usually just mean putting in your email address and you're done and can use the tracker. You'll also need to seed the torrent for some time.

IM popularity has steadily gone down over the years cuz most people feel Barazui is just doing it and not putting himself into it anymore pus there are no more bath scenes. Actually every time you post a new translation of a new chapter, I add it to my folder of new IM and re-upload it again. Okay, I don't know much about torrents, but can anyone explain why the "Availablity" has stalled at 1.733 for the past 3 hours?

My share ratio is over 4.3. I realized I didn't have Super Seeder on a while ago, but even after I turned it on, it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

I'm starting to worry that some last minute changes I made to the file this morning after I created the torrent but before I started seeding might have screwed it up. The file name and size are all the same though, and when I started seeding uTorrent detected 100% on my end.

When you change the file you need to create new torrent. The .torrent file includes CRC codes for each block, so if you change the file, nobody would be able to finish the changed blocks.
