Damn it feels good to be home.

Did you bring us any souvenirs?

  No.186882

A few but my lengthy exile and a dead computer means I lost a good deal of it. I'm working off a sexy ass laptop now.

So where'd you go all this time? If we can't all have souvenirs, at least you can give us the sordid details.

  No.186887

Well some time back my computer suffered a case of the "Fuck you and die" syndrome and pretty much turned into a cinder-block. After getting a new job that paid for previously mentioned "sexy ass laptop" I managed to retrieve some of my old data using mostly voodoo rituals and sacrifices to the computer gods and finally made my way back her after running in to Paul Sloth at a recent convention. Now that I'm back I see that I have some serious catching up to do.

So /azu/ wassup?

Welcome home brother

I've never understood how a computer can just up and die. I've had various components give out over the years and need replacement, but I've never just had a computer turn into a brick on me.

Wow. My dad's computer is a Windows 98 by Gateway and it's still kickin'. The computer in the garage with the four shades of green still works, too.

Ah, Sakura-con. Maybe we should set up a /azu/ panel one of these days.

Paul Sloth?

The only thing I know about Sakura-con is that infamous advert. Tell me, is that an accurate idea of the people who go there?

I think that intentionally made fun of anime fans (doesn't make it any less painful to watch, though)

Good to see you back. I don't remember the last time you were around, were you here when /azu/ moved away from Chiyochan.net to its current location?

  No.186925

>>186900

That's actually why I didn't return right away I had chiyochan.net bookmarked and I didn't know that it changed.

Ouch, that's what I was afraid of. Myself, I always entered /azu/ via iichan or wakachan, but many people apparently linked directly to Chiyochan.net and never found out about /azu/'s revival after months, while in reality it was back up again in a few weeks.

In fact, a 'backup' /azu/ was set up on http://www.shimauu.net/ in the meantime - it's still functional and currently hosts the Yukari Is Free roleplaying threads.

He means me, and it was at Anime Punch in Columbus. Members of the /azu/ nation have their ways of finding each other.
