Well, of the four, Jumbo's the only one for whom we know a first name. Scruffy's the only one for whom we don't know anything beyond a nickname.

Is it possible that it's just short for Yasuda? I always thought his name was Yanda Yasuda though.
He says his name once when he first shows up (he says for Yotsuba to go tell her dad Yasuda is here) and then later when he meets Asagi for the first time, he introduces himself as Yasuda.

I took it to be a joke on his last name, stemming from "yamu" (止む), meaning "stop" or "quit", since he begs off helping so much.

I always thought Yasuda was his surname, and Yanda was his nickname. His forename was kept from us in the same way Azuma does with so many of his character, teasing us.

It is 'official', in that it's drawn by Azuma himself. I have no idea when they were published or where (maybe the AD chart appeared in the 1st Visual book, about Yotsuba, I'm guessing a magazine article) Or maybe they were shown on his blog, before my time.

I was the Anon who merged the sets and adjusted some of the heights, since some of the figures who were supposed to be taller than others weren't, some of the short ones were too short, etc.

I've been meaning to go back and insert Torako and Shimauu, who were introduced later. (I think we estimated Shimauu at 159 cm. and Torako at 169.)
