I would be redundant! I've told my friends several times that when I watch Azumanga I often get the eerie impression that somebody filmed my high school career, isolated the prominent salient characteristics -- age-advanced coursework, weight worries, daydream tendencies, a penchant for running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and more -- and framed them as the personality hooks for a collection of Japanese schoolgirls.

In that I'm not very outgoing, and apparently that gets interpreted by some people as threatening.
I do like cute things (I collected stuffed animals up through high school), I love cats (I'm horribly allergic though) and animals in general (I used to ponder being a veterinarian in high school).

On the other hand, I'm not highly athletic (I'm no slouch, but I've never done anything atheltic worth recognition) and I don't have teenage girls crawling all over me thinking I'm so cool.

Sakaki did show me the world of cats, though. I used to be so mean to them growing up. In the pool in the back, I'd put them on a raft and leave them there, but Sakaki showed me my wrong ways.

And I still collect plushies, I don't give a shit what anyone says.

This admittedly isn't very imaginative, but I would be Yomi and just try to spend as much time as possible masturbating.

I'd be Kagura because she looks like a brawler, and I'd so go around beating the crap out of people.

Azumanga people I'd beat the crap out of:

1) Yukari, because she's mean, and frankly, she deserves payback for that tray beatdown she did on Tomo.

2) Tomo, because she's annoying, but it'd be a gentle beatdown instead of a hospitalization. I mean, I like her after all.

Same here. I tend to space out, I find strange things funny, I like to sleep, and I'm not very flexible; if I were Osaka, I'd just see things in a more surreal way and have a great group of friends in addition to all that.

If we're only doing Azumanga characters I'd probably be Tomo, since I can be kind of a dick and I get a laugh out of annoying people. I'd say Kagura, but I could not care any less about athletics if I tried.

I have many of my own Osaka moments, but seem to keep it together most of the time.

Sakaki's a personal hero of mine. Even if she's just a character, she really reached out to me, and if the dimensions cracked and I ended up in the Azumanga world, I'd totally be Sakaki...

Being Sakaki would be mandatory for me, I'm already a silent Jumbo-scale cat fancier. I'd probably rather be Kagura if I had a choice in the matter.
