I've never watched Lost but this cross-over seems interesting.

After looking into Locke's character, I think Tomo and he would get along well. I don't know why, something about those two makes something in my head click.

Sakaki runs crying to the Japanese CP, tells what she knows and allows the garrison to repel the American invasion.

WW2 goes on for another 3 years. America drops 17 nuclear weapons on Japan. Sakaki dies holding a cat in a cave in small island in the Sea of Japan.

That sounds a little more like Kagura. Sakaki would be crusading for an end to the war, because of the toll the bombings are taking on all the cute animals.

Tomo, of course, would steal a Zero and head for the nearest ship because she wants to see what an explosion looks like up close.
