Almost forgot in the after-con catch-up madness: I got a few choice photos during Project: A-Kon this past weekend.

Sadly, I never saw this one together with the first one.

A bit tall and skinny, but well done nonetheless, complete with light switch on head, light-up eyes and coin slot on chest.

I could cosplay as Koiwai, but his outfit is just boxers and a t-shirt, so I don't think anyone would get it.

You could go as pants-man. That would be pretty epic. More people would probably get that, but more people would probably also look at you strangely.

Alternatively, put flowers in your hair.

Yeah, I thought of the flowers, but I figured that would just make people more confused. At least they would be more likely to realize it was meant to be a costume instead of just me being a slob though.

Of course, this is assuming I would actually go to an anime convention, let alone do any of this.

I did that once. Con security stopped me.

As opposed to this guy without a shirt and wearing just towel? >>208830
People just wear whatever the hell they want to cons these days. Kudos to the Yots cosplayer. I hope I'll spot one at AX next month.

>>208847
That's funny considering people (mainly women) wear skin-tight clothing with their yum-yums hanging out. Not that I have a problem with that, personally.
Were you wearing actual boxers? Swim-trunks would have been acceptable, I think.

I didn't see a single piece of Azu/Yotsuba cosplay at Anime North this year. Nor did I find any vendors selling the Yotsuba figurines everyone but me seems to have.

At least I got vol 5 and 6...

I did! There was a Yotsuba on Sunday, and two Danbos all weekend.

no idea how much I want one of those yots figures, and I hate figurines with a pasion

Haha, look at the herd right of Danbo.

  No.208921   Report

Is the guy with the towel seriously supposed to be somebody?

(Besides Superman, obviously)

You mean on our right (the small group of people sitting by the window), or Danbo's right (a couple next to him, more in the background 'cause it's the main route from the hotel to the convention center)?

>>208921
Honestly, I've no idea.
