No.895
If a manga/anime from 20 years ago can resonate with zoomers its more of a testament of Azuma's ability to write timeless characters and stories, that being said, my only gripe with azuzoomers is that some of them will obsessively ship the characters while browbeating any male who dares to express any affective or sexual desire towards any of the main six girls.
No.897
No, OP.
Nothing can ruin a manga that's finished. It's done. The canon is closed.
>>895>some of them will obsessively ship the characters while browbeating any male who dares to express any affective or sexual desire towards any of the main six girlsThat's retarded with a capital R but it doesn't ruin anything.

>>896azuma's only work that i read so far is yotsuba& and i personally like both of them, i really can't pick which one i like the most, the one on the right is simpler and more cutesy but the left one is more detailed
however the feeling of yukari's expression is different with the new style
also first post on /azu/, hello guys!

>>915Hi!
And yes to what you said, but objectively the newer art shows much improvenent as an artist.

this reminds me i haven't read past chapter 1 of azumanga daioh, i just don't like the way the panels are arranged
>>916sure, i remember fuuka being a bit weird in the first chapter of yotsuba and getting better and better as the manga went on
however it is also true that he changed his style too, the eyes are an obvious one for example

I've seen alot of im/azu posting around the internet and i wonder if its kids or OGs. I know IM had a viral tiktok meme but i have no idea why zoomies would attach themselves to azumanga. do kids these days have access to the old shows? I dont use streaming so i dont know.
No.928
>>926they haven't watched the shows, they just watch clips on tiktok and youtube. it's sadly essentially all kids these days, not many OG posters left, which is why i'm not too heavily involved in any "fan communities" or whatnot. even yotsuba&! is getting poisoned
No.929
no and i'm glad they like it because that's how it stays alive

>>929This, as long as japs are smart enough to not pander to the new retarded western audience.
No.931
>>930they already are with other shows though, especially as CR and western companies get more and more influence
subtitles are already getting butchered
No.932
>>928If you ask your average anime watching zoomer about who Yotsuba is he will mention some quintuplets or something, all the zoomers that got into it were filtered previously by Azumanga Daioh's 26 episodes, I wouldn't worry about it.

>>986Reddit's userbase just naturally ruins any fandom it touches, scrapping away its old community and identity in favor of safe, non-edgy style of community. Even though uniting everyone of all creeds and beliefs is actually the best thing you can do.

>>894Yeah. Full of the most mindless types of people nowadays. They'll get mad and call you a pedophile if they even suspect you have any affection to any of the girls.
They're rabid tourists that ruin anything they touch.
No.1159
>>989It depends on the community and fanbase. I occasionally check some that are pretty OK, especially for smaller, independent videogames that attract an older & more mature audience.
