You are correct, we have the resources to move benches around. I should point out, however, that it's a rare occurrence, because of a tedious process that's required beforehand, which goes as follows:
Step one: Submit a request to Magi for temporary bench relocation for recreational purposes.
Step two: Wait to receive the proper forms to be filled out, which does not happen until Magi has processed the request. This has been known to take up to three days.
Step three: Fill the papers out, and send them to the committee. A response from them usually takes a week.
Step four: If permission is granted, notices need to then be sent to the International Association of Safe Bench Use Awareness, as well as the American Association for the Humane Treatment of Benches.
Step five: A day must be scheduled for the move. Originally, this was to prevent disruption of Eva Unit testing (the main weakness of which are benches), but since I grew to about 500x my original size and killed everyone, then brought them back to life, and caused the Evas to be inoperative, there's no need to schedule the move, and it is an obsolete rule. I told Gendo to remove it, but he's been spending a lot more time with Shinji, saying he wants to focus on his role as a father rather than spend all of his time working. I am aware that he's just using that as an excuse to be lazy.
