Axes, Hammers, Swords, Spears, Crossbows, Maces.

Which of these would be most suitable for each of the main girls, with none of them having the same weapon? I'm thinking of starting Adventure mode in Dwarf Fortress and creating them all one by one, training their skills and having them all retire in the same village so when I create Chiyo she can recruit them all and proceed to raze every town, fortress and village in the world.

I think I'll forgo crossbows and have someone either carry an extra Spear or a Scourge. I can train Chiyo's throwing skill till she can pierce dragon skulls by throwing handfuls of sand to make up for not having a ranged weapon.

I've created them all. Chiyo is armed with both a sword and crossbow, Sakaki and Kagura with warhammers, Yomi with a mace, Osaka with an axe and Tomo with a spear.

I decided to try having Chiyo take out a fortress alone. She killed the demon leader by throwing a crossbow bolt that pierced its right hand and ripped off its index finger. Then while the demon collapsed from pain, she hacked off its right arm, then cut off the lower half of his left leg, then removed its left hand, then the lower part of its left arm, then finally she split the demon into half by cutting away it entire lower body.

I wish I could draw it.

Very, but they tend to start slow when you don't have powerups.

the basic powerups that increase the range and number of bombs you place are permanent. it gets interesting as you're more able to blow things up, and more likely to accidentally blow YOURSELF up.

It's a game where the biggest threat is yourself as your only weapon/tool harms you as easily as the enemies.

They get kind of dull and repetitive in single player mode.
In multiplayer they are A BLAST!!! (hurr hurr i make pun) Especially in the versions that allow for even more than two players. I haven't had a chance to try eight player mode on the Saturn, unfortunately, because I do not have a multitap, or eight friends who want to play Bomberman with me.

I've been seeing a lot of these "Midsummer Greetings" images ever since the first of August, but in my opinion mid to late July is the height of summer, and things start trending toward fall starting in August.

I wonder if that's because the first trimester ends in August. It picks up again in September.
But then, I hear students get six weeks off for summer, so I'm not sure if that bleeds more into July or September...
