I'm not sure I really get the meaning of Yomi's やかましい at the beginning. I'm guessing it just means she's not satisfied with Chiyo being the Chiyoda just because of their shared name?

I thought I remembered Sakaki's line at the end being a joke from the original series, but now I can't find it.
Sakaki says that's not Chiyo-"chan" it's Chiyo-"da" (da as in adding emphasis, but also sounds like "Chiyoda").

I figured since she's an aircraft carrier, that makes her "Plane" Chiyo.

Just got done cutting out a hundred or so choice Osakas from the main series for new panels. I still like the idea of erasing everyone from regular comics, leaving Osaka to talk to her imaginary friends (or not to speak at all), but there’s something to be said about new creations like my third up there. I have a fantasy in my head where Osaka is a member of a long-lost tribal people living in a remote part of Okinawa (Or perhaps a fictional island off the coast of Okinawa?), of which has not had contact with the outside world or seen modern man since like 1900.

I wrote down literally 25 cute little scenarios of "Ancient Osaka" doing everything from bathing underneath a waterfall (after the hunt, you'll see why later) to deciding not to help Chuck Noland to smearing herself with animal dung and guts for a more effective hunt.
