I think that's probably technically correct, but translating amai as "naïve" seems to be missing the joke.

But, so, Asagi is actually doing something really awesome here, right? I don't think you can compare this to Fuuka, who has zero self-awareness and thinks she is really being funny. This is a sort of battle-cry she is using before going out to literally take candy from babies. She is entirely aware of the fundamental absurdity. The point is not the joke itself but the context of its delivery. I also disagree with the second link above, which asks whether Azuma forget Asagi's character setting. This fits in perfectly with her sticking out her hands toward Koiwai or saying "A kid was skipping, we must be close," or pointing at Yotsuba and saying "Fall!". That's who she is, she's very playful but she's got a dry, detached sort of feeling for the absurd. I think this is one of her best moments.

I wonder if maybe Yen Press actually knew but intentionally ignored it, since it doesn't translate cleanly.
